WHEN TO USE A STAGE 1, 2, or 3 COMPRESSION FAJA

WHEN TO USE A STAGE 1, 2, or 3 COMPRESSION FAJA

It is important to use the right stage of compression Faja after surgery to ensure proper healing and the best possible surgical results. Here is a breakdown of when to use each stage of compression Faja:

Stage 1 Compression Faja: This is the first Faja you will wear immediately after surgery, and it should be worn for 0-2 weeks post-op. This Faja has minimal compression and is designed to allow for fluid circulation and complete healing and draining. It should fit loosely on your body and not be too tight.

Stage 2 Compression Faja: This Faja should be worn starting from two weeks after surgery and should be worn for four weeks (from Week 2 to Week 6). This Faja provides more intense therapy to match your body's healing and helps to sculpt the waist, hips, and midsection. It should have high compression tummy control of the abdomen region and may or may not come with a crotch opening. This Faja does not come with rods to avoid irritating or pressurizing the incision points.

Stage 3 Compression Faja: This Faja should be worn 6-12 weeks post-surgery when your body and incisions have almost fully healed. This Faja has a waist trainer design and is built with rods, latex, and other high compression materials that significantly increase compression levels. It helps to shape, curve and snatch your silhouette. It is recommended that you keep the compression constant for the first six weeks at this stage. This Faja may come in small sizes that give higher compression.

It is important to note that you need two garments per stage for alternation, and it takes about 4-5 hours for each garment to dry. For stage three, it is recommended to wear your Post-Op Compression Garment for 12 hours per day. It is also important to talk to your physician about any concerns you might have pre-op, during-op, and post-op and to back up your surgery with a healthy lifestyle to make sure the surgery effects stay permanent.
