WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO GO INTO PLASTIC SURGERY?
From a young age, I always knew I wanted to go into medicine, but the turning point in my professional path was when I was in general surgery residency. I found taking care of breast cancer patients and performing breast reconstruction to be the most rewarding and fulfilling aspect of my training. I started to lean into plastic and reconstructive surgery and really spent a lot more time with the plastic and reconstructive surgical team at the University of Miami. I fell in love with the impact that plastic and reconstructive surgery made in people’s lives. The psychological impact it had on people was life altering for them, and ultimately for me as well in the sense of gratitude hence, my slogan, ‘Empowering you through physical change.’ A change in form and function really works back to the psychological basis of not just women, but men as well.

ARE THERE SPECIFIC AREAS YOU ARE SEEING PEOPLE FOCUS ON MORE THESE DAYS, AND WHICH TREATMENTS DO YOU RECOMMEND FOR THESE AREAS?
As a seasoned, trusted surgeon, I am skilled in many aspects of cosmetic treatments. Some of my areas of expertise include but are not limited to: breast augmentations, breast reductions, mommy makeovers, tummy tucks, liposuction, Brazilian butt-lifts, neck- and face-lifts. My specialty is breast reduction, mommy makeovers and facial procedures.
That being said, I am now seeing more breast reduction and breast revision patients than ever before. I am particularly well known for my expertise in delivering high-quality breast reduction surgeries at our Breast Reduction Center at Pincus Plastic Surgery and specialize in breast implant revision surgery for women who are dissatisfied with the outcomes of previous breast augmentation and/or breast-lift procedures done by other doctors.

ANY OTHER OFFERINGS TO BUZZ?
I spent a large portion of my life in Miami, where men get just as much cosmetic surgery as women. So, for me, men getting cosmetic surgery is not the exception, it’s also the rule. Usually, the procedures that men get are Botox, liposuction, gynecomastia excision and some tummy tucks from weight loss. I've always had a strong male patient population in New York. Maybe from my pedigree being down South in Miami, patients feel more comfortable—male patients especially. So I understand there is a change and increase, but I've always had a strong male patient population.
